How Does the Antimicrobial Treatment Work?

OptiVAN Antimicrobial Treatment doesn’t simply mask odours or make an interior smell freshly cleaned.

After application, microscopic antimicrobial structures form across treated surfaces.

When susceptible microorganisms come into contact with the treated surface, these microscopic structures physically disrupt the microorganism’s protective membrane through a process known as lysis.

Think of it as creating millions of microscopic defensive points across the treated surface.

Rather than relying purely on alcohol, chlorine or a chemical poison that evaporates or is consumed after application, the antimicrobial barrier remains on the treated surface and continues working beyond the initial sanitisation process.
